Description

Our “Stage 1 filter” for 2.5” x 10” Ultrafiltration+ Filter Systems uses our polypropylene gradient filter to filter out particles, extending the life and reducing maintenance of the Micron Disruptor Technology™ element in Stage 2. Additionally, this cartridge reduces scale. The 5-micron melt-blown sediment filtration component optimizes dirt holding capability by trapping particulate (Particles 0.5 to <1 µm).  This filter reduces scale by utilizing a slow release of polyphosphate media.

Key Features:

• Sediment Removal: The dual gradient depth filtration design allows for two distinct filter zones. Larger particles are trapped and filtered in the first zone and smaller particles are trapped in the second zone.  This filtration capability traps sand, dirt, rust, and other larger particles suspended in water.
